Is your man a Star War Fan?  Luke I am your father!  Always quoting from Star Wars and explaining why it took movies to the next level?  My brother & my nephew both love Star Wars.  But they argue about the special effects since my nephew doesn’t appreciate them!  But for those of us who can remember Star Wars was a generation ahead of the times.  Anyways, I love to get my brother in the family Christmas gift exchange.  All I need to do is shop for unique Star War items.  For those of you that need Cute Boyfriend Gift Ideas for a Star Wars junkie here’s some suggestions:

Basic Information for all

With all my gifts that I give, I love to combine a couple of the gift ideas  & place in a usage container then I wrap altogether or just leave as is.  Couldn’t I just buy a gift basket already together?  I have found that while it may take a little more time, creating my own gift basket has a much Bigger “WOW” effect.  And I always want my gift to get that “WOW” effect.  Aunt Kim has always been the best gift giver!

I usually love baskets!  But for guys they are borderline.  I have at times found the right (manly)basket for my men. For one male friend who was a new homeowner, I bought a selection of items needed for his home(that Ill blog about another time)-Anyways, I found this awesome really strong rugged basket that he could use for firewood in front of his fireplace & stuck all the gifts in it.  I gave it to him unwrapped & he loved it.  He still uses the basket for his firewood.

For gamers, I prefer something that closes so you don’t have to see all their controllers & stuff.   Wicker trunks or other small cabinets are good for them.

These items I usually pick up all year long when unique items(that can be used as storage) are on sale.  Again most of these items are usually for other purposes but end up working great.  So use your imagination & look around.  You can find great storage type containers used to create your own gift basket.  Believe me people love to get giver made gift baskets type gifts even when every item has been bought at the dollar store!  It shows you took the time & really thought about them.

And by all means-

When talking to your man, never tell him it’s cute or ask him if it’s cute!  It’s against Man Law to say that something is cute!-Except maybe to his little girl-Then all Man Laws are broken!

Cute Boyfriend Gift Ideas for the Gamer

So you’re with a gamer?  Stays up all hours gaming?  Or to run to the local store at midnight to get the game as soon as it’s out?  Friends always over gamin or he’s over at their house because they have the newest game? Game Console- If you have the $ for & if he doesn’t already have one or  even if he has  console but it’s an older version, a gaming console would be ideal!  He’ll never forget it.  Also even, if he has a gaming system, some gamers prefer to have multiple systems.    If you don’t have the $ for one of those, he may like one of the portal gaming systems like Nintendo DS or  Playstation Portal.  If he travels or if he has other down time away from home, he could play on the go.  Again the system should depend on what he likes!  Some folks prefer one over the other while others like all of them.  The XBox 360 TM Elite Gaming Console has a 120 GB Hard Drive while the Playstation 3 has 250 GB(PS2 is  available with 120 GB Hard Drive) so it will just depending on how much storage he wants & your budget(along with want system he prefers).  Also to help your budget you can always check into used gaming consoles.

2. Games-This is of course if he already has a gaming console.  Please double check that you are getting the game for the correct system.  I remember how happy my son was to get the newest version of his favorite game on Christmas morning.  Then the disappoint when he figured out Santa how brought him the portal version of the game.  Bad Santa!  Not being a gamer herself, Santa didn’t even realize back then that there were different versions.  So please double & triple check his system & then double & triple check the game when purchasing it!  If he’s like most men, if he doesn’t tell your straight out just listening to him( especially when he’s gaming with his friends) will tell you the game he would love to have.   If your still not sure after eaves dropping, a gift certificate would do nicely!  It will show your are support of his gaming & want him to use his gift.  But most gamers are pretty vocal about what they want.

Controllers, Again this will depend on the system & games that he plays.  You definitely won’t get that “WOW” effect with a controller that’s not compatible with his system.  My preference is a wireless controller when possible.  Wires drive me crazy!  With different gaming systems their are different options available.  Many are regular controllers, others are wheels(for driving), tennis rackets etc.   There are controllers for almost any price range.  Again you can always check into used controllers to save money.

4. Memory Cards & other accessories-which there are many & you would need to do some more eaves dropping to figure out what he could use.  But gamers love their accessories.

6.
